Janja Sesar

Janja Sesar has been the Director of Pogon since 2017. She graduated in Croatian and German Language and Literature from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb and earned a Master’s Degree in Cultural and Media Management from the Free University in Berlin. She worked as a Coordinator at Alliance Operation City and was the Editor and Manager of Kulturpunkt.hr, an Internet portal for independent culture, contemporary art and civil society. In the past fifteen years she has participated in the organization of various national and international cultural projects, including the presentation and organization of the “New Tendencies“ exhibition at Zentrum für Kunst und Medientechnologie (ZKM) in Karlsruhe. She has participated in various conferences, workshops and seminars, both as a speaker and moderator, and has received several scholarships from the German Service for Academic Exchange (DAAD). She was invited by the US State Department to take part in the International Visitors Leadership Programme in 2014, as well as to the Cultural Diplomacy Platform organized by the European Commission on Malta in 2016. She likes movies, travel and learning foreign languages.

Sonja Soldo

Sonja Soldo worked as a Programme Coordinator at Pogon between 2009 and 2015, and in 2016 she became a Senior Associate for Cultural Programmes and International Cooperation, where she also managed an artist exchange programme with the Akademie Schloss Solitude. Since 2004 she has managed various projects and programmes in the field of independent culture. Between 2004 and 2012 she worked at [BLOK] Association (a curatorial collective) on projects in the field of art in the public space. She was the Co-Manager of UrbanFestival between 2006 and 2009 and the Art Programme Coordinator of the manifestation Operation:City in 2005 and 2008, which was the result of collaboration between independent cultural scene organizations in Zagreb.

Domagoj Šavor

Domagoj Šavor graduated Air traffic at the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences. He has been active in the civil sector and employed in independent cultural organizations for more than fifteen years, where he gained experience in managing organizations and cultural spaces, with a focus on the development of collaborative models. He was responsible for managing Mala scena of the Croatian House in Karlovac, where he participated in programming, fundraising and event organization. Through the Poluga association, he organized the electronic LED fest and numerous individual events. From 2018 to 2025, he was a coordinator in the Clubture network, where he worked on exchange and cooperation programs and advocating and monitoring public policies in culture. He was a member of various cultural bodies.

Matea Munitić Mihovilović

Matea Munitić Mihovilović has a Master's degree in Sociology from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Split. Since 2008 she has volunteered for Mediterranean Film Festival Split and since 2009 for the Coalition of Youth Associations in Split. She started working in Pogon in 2014; first as a Programme Activities Coordinator within an in-service training programme, and in 2016 she became Programme Activities Manager and Coordinator. In her free time she goes to concerts, and sometimes pub quizzes, mostly music and film ones. Her favorite pastime is hanging out with her pekingese Rea.

Josipa Vukelić

Josipa Vukelić completed her undergraduate studies in cultural management and graduated from the Project Management program in collaboration with the Ruđer Bošković Institute. She also completed a Basic Ecology course at the University of Applied Sciences Technikum Wien. Since 2010, she has volunteered in various cultural and artistic organizations, organized her first exhibition, and interned at Lauba – House for People and Art. She has been working at KONTEJNER | Bureau of Contemporary Art Practices since 2014, where until 2020, she participated in various cultural and artistic projects in Croatia and abroad, managed the EMAP – European Media Art Platform residency program, and the Device_art 6.018 festival. Since 2019, she has established and led the Marketing and Communications Department at the Karlovac City Museums, focusing on programs, cultural policy, and the communication strategy of two museums and a gallery and publishing in the journal Informatica Museologica. She has also worked as a professional associate on the HDLU program and organized guest exhibitions for the Festival of Tolerance/JFF Zagreb.

Martina Kontošić

Martina Kontošić is na art historian, ethnologist and tourism management specialist. From 2015 to 2024 she was a projects coordinator and head of marketing and audience development program in Kurziv - Platform for Matters of Culture, Media and Society, through which she designed and collaboratively realized workshops and meetings in the field of experimental music and sound art. She worked on numerous independent curatorial and production projects of contemporary art. From 2015 to 2019, she was an associate of Andreje Kulunčić's MAPA Association on program coordination. From 2015 to 2017, she was the co-leader of the net.cube project of internet art production, and she continued her work in this area with occasional collaborations with the Format C art organization through the mediation of digital art content. She was a long-term program and project associate of the WHW curatorial collective in Gallery Nova, on international exhibition projects and the WHW Akademija, an international educational program for artists.

Mario Fudurić

Mario graduated as a carpentry technician-designer at the Forestry and woodworking school in Karlovac. Right after finishing highschool, he started working in a small tech rental company, and later volunteering as a technician at the Mala scena of Hrvatski dom in Karlovac. He worked with several tech rental companies, in clubs Močvara and Attack where he gained knowledge in the field of sound engineering and other technical fields. He conducts sound workshops and takes part in organising festivals and cultural events. In his spare time, he cycles, hikes and enjoys Mrežnica river.

Graziella Bokor

Finance and Accounting Manager

Graziella Bokor graduated in Tourism from the Faculty of Economics and Business in Zagreb. She worked in tourism sales and as a travel agency manager for ten years. Since 2006 she has worked in profit and not-for-profit accounting and finance. She was appointed the Finance and Administration Manager at Pogon in 2016. In her free time, she enjoys dancing, running and skiing with her little family.

Lucia Janječić

Lucia Janječić has a master's degree in Public Administration at the Faculty of Law in Zagreb. Her first job is precisely this one - in Pogon, as a administrative officer. In her spare time she likes to work out in the gym, read, and loves to go for walks when she can soak up the sun. She is active even when not in Pogon.

Tena Ilić

accounting officer

Tena graduated from high school in Jastrebarsko, majoring in economics. For many years she was employed as a financial advisor in a bank. She has been working at Pogon since the end of 2024 as an accounting clerk. In her free time, she goes to quizzes. She can't wait for summer, enjoys traveling and nature.
