Janja Sesar

Janja Sesar has been the Director of Pogon since 2017. She graduated in Croatian and German Language and Literature from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb and earned a Master’s Degree in Cultural and Media Management from the Free University in Berlin. She worked as a Coordinator at Alliance Operation City and was the Editor and Manager of Kulturpunkt.hr, an Internet portal for independent culture, contemporary art and civil society. In the past fifteen years she has participated in the organization of various national and international cultural projects, including the presentation and organization of the “New Tendencies“ exhibition at Zentrum für Kunst und Medientechnologie (ZKM) in Karlsruhe. She has participated in various conferences, workshops and seminars, both as a speaker and moderator, and has received several scholarships from the German Service for Academic Exchange (DAAD). She was invited by the US State Department to take part in the International Visitors Leadership Programme in 2014, as well as to the Cultural Diplomacy Platform organized by the European Commission on Malta in 2016. She likes movies, travel and learning foreign languages.

Sonja Soldo

Sonja Soldo worked as a Programme Coordinator at Pogon between 2009 and 2015, and in 2016 she became a Senior Associate for Cultural Programmes and International Cooperation, where she also managed an artist exchange programme with the Akademie Schloss Solitude. Since 2004 she has managed various projects and programmes in the field of independent culture. Between 2004 and 2012 she worked at [BLOK] Association (a curatorial collective) on projects in the field of art in the public space. She was the Co-Manager of UrbanFestival between 2006 and 2009 and the Art Programme Coordinator of the manifestation Operation:City in 2005 and 2008, which was the result of collaboration between independent cultural scene organizations in Zagreb.

Luka Antić

Luka Antić graduated from the Industrial and Craft School in Šibenik. For years he has been working in the field of catering, sales and construction. Since 2015 he works as a coordinator of associations and cooperatives. He is a leader of various workshops and projects, and takes part in organisations of festivals and cultural events.
In his spare time, he does yoga, upcycling, poetry and refurbishing of a Posavina cabin.

Graziella Bokor

Graziella Bokor graduated in Tourism from the Faculty of Economics and Business in Zagreb. She worked in tourism sales and as a travel agency manager for ten years. Since 2006 she has worked in profit and not-for-profit accounting and finance. She was appointed the Finance and Administration Manager at Pogon in 2016. In her free time, she enjoys dancing, running and skiing with her little family.

Marijana Rimanić graduated in Art History and Comparative Literature from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb. She started working at Pogon in 2011, first as a Programme Coordinator, and later as Manager of Communications and Marketing. After graduation she worked on the Croatian Radiotelevision as a journalist for “Transfer“, a TV show about alternative culture and art, and later as a Co-Curator of UrbanFestivala at [BLOK] Association. Until 2019 she also worked at the Multimedia Institute as Manager of MaMa, cultural and social centre. In her free time, she daydreams about having a cashmere goat farm.

Matea Munitić Mihovilović

Matea Munitić Mihovilović graduated in Sociology from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Split. She has been employed at Pogon since 2014; first as a Programme Activities Coordinator within an in-service training programme, and in 2016 she became a Programme Activities Manager and Coordinator. In her free time she runs half-marathons.

Anja Pletikosa

Anja Pletikosa graduated Comparative Literature and Croatian Language and Literature at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of the University of Zagreb, and she holds an MA in Dramaturgy from the Performing Arts Studies, Goethe-Universität Frankfurt. Since 2014 she has acted as a cultural worker and collaborates with numerous associations and organisations as editor, proofreader, producer and associate for communication. As a dramaturg, she worked on around 15 theater performances, and as a pedagogue, she worked on art workshops for kids, youth and adults. She is currently working on developing her own author's texts and development of the script for an animated film. She is fluent in German and English, a will soon be fluent in Italian as well. In free time she is practicing yoga and she likes dogs, friends and traveling. Anja collaborates with Pogon since 2019.

Lucia Janječić

Lucia Janječić graduated in Public Administration at the Faculty of Law in Zagreb. Her first job is precisely this one - in Pogon, as a administrative officer.
In her spare time she likes to work out in the gym, read, and loves to go for walks when she can soak up the sun. She is active even when not in Pogon.
