Bojan Gagić, Roanna Rahman, Josip Zanki: Spaces of Silence
“Spaces of Silence“ is a participatory work of multiple artists based on workshops, lectures and interdisciplinary artistic researches, and its aim is to share experiences and connect different art practices.
Taking contemporary interpretations of ritual practices, Tibetan Buddhist meditation forms and Amazonian shamanistic heritage as its starting point, the project explores the relationship between sacred words (mantras and secret codes), image and number. The project started with Josip Zanki's researches in Thangde Gatsal Thangka Art School in Dharamshala in India and workshops and lectures at the Faculty of Fine Arts, National University of Bogota, Colombia.
