Cirkus punkt: Flip Flop
By bringing together three artists, we want to find a way to combine two conflicting premises, namely: for an acrobat, the fall is potentially disastrous, and for a clown, it is the space for creation and connecting with the audience.
How to combine these two conflicting premises through the use of aerial skills and clown art? Flip is a term used in the acrobatic, and flop in the clown world. The combination of the two creates Flip Flop – which has opened up the possibility of a play on words but also of using flip flops as a prop that appears as a leitmotif in different scenes.
