Cirkorama: CircusNext PLaTFoRM
Under CircusNext PLaTForRM, a project promoting the art of new circus in Europe, Cirkorama and Pogon will host a residency for three female circus performers from La Geste circus company.
During their stay they will present their current work in progress. The project follows the story of the three Fates from Greek and Roman mythology who determined human destinies, the span of a person’s life and their allotment of misery and suffering. The tacit connection is the thread between the three artists and their circus props. Following a fall of a trapeze artist, the constant evocation of death, emerges the thread of the circus story, which stretches between these three feminine and phantasmagorical characters…
