In his work Filmska teka/Film Notebook Ivan Martinac shows that film can be seen not only as visual art, but also as a means of expression related to language and translation.

Inspired by this, a schachtophonic installation F : I : L : M : S : K : A : T : E : K : A / F : I : L : M : N : O : T : E : B : O : O : K goes beyond its technological framework, becomes an assemblage, phonetic poem, film-train, performance as cinema by other means. The travelling installation is composed of 9 schacht-stations for a multitude of film titles, megaphones getting closer or getting further away from the line of sight of surveillance cameras placed in iron elastic springs. From time to time, this quiet mobile mega(reflecto)phone scenery becomes drowned out by live voices and their respective springs, post-noise chaotic guitar, bass, drums and saxophone noises.
