DB Indoš & Kugla Group: Schachtophony on Freedom of the Will
DB Indoš, Tanja Vrvilo and Schacht Archestra presents their newest schachtophony inspired by the philosophical pedagogy of Albert Bazala.
Šahtofonija o slobodi volje / Schachtophony on Freedom of the Will is inspired by Alber Bazala's philosophical pedagogy and thought and his discussions on the notion of freedom of the lecturer and freedom of the listener in the process of teaching philosophy, fragments of reflections on the understanding of free act of the philosopher Ivana Rossi and by appropriating Burroughs, Corso and Rimbaud's poem titled To a Reason. The basic structure of the work is composed of the schahtophonic sheet music of Bazala’s thoughts on free will of the listener and lecturer and two cut-up songs titled X:Y and A:O. Using various techniques of vocal, sound and visual expression, performers create visual and concrete poetry, image and movement of noise, in a multi-channel installation.
