“Schachtophony of Lust” builds on the series of past and future performances in which the appropriations of textual materials of a philosophical, literary and documentary nature are subjected to various speech-sound-visual-choreographic techniques.
It deals with Valentine de Saint-Point’s Futurist Manifesto of Lust, the objective of which is the total emancipation of feminist creation interpolated with the theses from the recent manifesto “Feminism for the 99%“ (Cinzia Arruzza, Nancy Fraser, Tithi Bhattacharya) that contains the lust for a new free “anti-society“. We positively subvert the imperative thought from the Futurist Manifesto of Lust (we must make lust into a work of art) and critical theses from the manifesto “Feminism for the 99%“, which substantially points to the fact that today, after 40 years of neoliberal rule, many see feminism as success within capitalism.
