Dora Pocedić and Linda Tarnovski: “… and the exits are even smaller”
“… and the exits are even smaller” is a dance performance in progress, presented in the form of a duet that explores a specific relationship with the performance space and the audience’s perspective.
The dramaturgical and choreographic starting point is a short film by Zbigniew Rybczyński titled Tango, in which the fundamental principle is the division between on and off-screen. What enables us to stage a translation of such a conceptual division of space is precisely the principle of the art technique of collage, which is based on the layered organization in which certain elements remain hidden/invisible, i.e., off-screen.
