Močvara Gallery: Sanna Helena Berger
The collaboration with the artist Sanna Helena Berger includes two programme lines - a performance that will take place at Jedinstvo and a sculptural installation of residual performance materials at the Miroslav Kraljević Gallery (GMK).
Sanna Helena Berger creates performative situations that provoke and intensify the alternation between observation and greater engagement in the interaction with her work. Berger effectively destabilizes the flows of social interaction in a series of explorations into how behaviour is conditioned by our surroundings and how these mechanisms can be deployed for artistic purposes. Often beginning as a text, her performances transform everyday experience by reformulating power relations and ideas of value through bodies and objects. Her interventions expand and distort the familiar into subtly caricatured forms, inviting detachment.
