Horror House Project: Salto Mortale
“Salto Mortale” is the first part of the trilogy titled “Horror House Project” that talks about a circus artist through three units.
Anybody who does not truly love circus cannot work in a circus. The art of circus is a struggle between man and gravity. With all the love and dedication that go into this art, there are many factors that can make pleasure turn into fright and terror. This is not a common occurrence, but it is omnipresent - at each training, rehearsal and performance, and thus “Horror House Project” tries to present the audience with a number of situations that, through collage textual formats, audio and video effects and vertical choreographies, show borderline situations of circus artists at work. The performance is intended for seven spectators.
