Nina Kurtela: Inner Landscapes / Imaginary Homes
With the solo exhibition "Inner Landscapes / Imaginary Homes", Nina Kurtela examines the relationships between the real and fictional, private and public, material and experiential, by creating a third space that opens up new possibilities of interpretation.
Exploring various environments through personal stories and the places she inhabits, she opens up different layers of the nature of memory, identity, space, time and their fictions. The exhibition consists of the experimental film "Dear Aki" and a kind of by-products, transforming and upgrading the time and space of the film into physical objects.
