Josipa Stojanović: Synchronizations
Josipa Stojanović’s multimedia installation opens a new series of exhibitions on the topic "Silence" in 90-60-90 Gallery in 2018.
With this series of exhibitions we reflect on silence in a personal (silence as introspection) and political sense (silence as a demand for the abolition of politicized noise). The inner voice we often cannot hush dominates the encounter between a man and silence.
The artist interprets the notion of silence through a number of interactive installations, Nebo na dohvat ruke [The Sky Within Reach], Zviždaljke [Whistles], Prigušivač [Silencer] and video works Sinkronizacije [Synchronizations] and Što je tišina [What is Silence].
Josipa Stojanović is a graduate student at the Art Academy in Osijek, Department of Sculpture. Lives and works in Osijek.
