Circus Arts Laboratory: THE VOICES TRAPPED IN THE BODY
Members of the Spanish circus group La Vispera will hold an intensive two-day mask and body animation workshop in anticipation of a public performance in Pogon Jedinstvo.
Between the Mask and the Puppet
An intensive workshop on the creation and free manipulation of body puppets.
Participants will create a simple, personal mask and explore various forms of manipulation and its integration with the body.
Through this work, we will explore our own physicality, creating a dialogue between the inanimate and one or more bodies, examining the ability to transform, distort, and expand both body and imagination.
Workshop facilitators are members of La Víspera Vinka Delgado – circus artist, mask and puppet designer and builder, Diego Hernando – circus artist, lighting and sound designer, and Guille Leoni – circus artist, scenographer.
What to bring?
- Printed photocopies of your face (about 5 copies per person, in color or black and white)
- Old, bulky clothing
Participation fee is 50 €. Since the number of workshop slots is limited, please register via this form by April 2, 2025.
