Little Chef Sanja
The workshop encourages children to create a picture book on the topic of food, with subtopics about what they eat, why they do not eat certain foods and who prepares their food and how.
The children will be encouraged to explore—through drawing—the difference between how food comes to the table when it is meat-based, and how when it is plant-based, who and how prepares food, and why they like it or dislike it. The ideas will not be suggested to children in any way. The children are the authors of the picture book they create. Creating drawings for a picture book is a new and inspiring way of learning about the consequences of human behaviour on the world around us. The expected results are the understanding of the pattern and consequences that help children make conscientious and conscious choices in their daily lives, especially when it comes to food consumption. The workshop managers are the professors Marijana Međugorac and Vesna Horvat-Kovačec.
