Vertical Garden Construction Workshop / Spring at the Jedinstvo Garden
By introducing live elements into architecture not only can we increase the aesthetic value of the space we live in but we can also reduce building cooling costs in the summer, increase the air quality, especially in urban areas, and also grow some food in places where usually there is no space for a traditional garden.
Green roofs and vertical gardens are increasingly becoming a trademark for sustainable construction. Biotecture is precisely this – the synthesis of architecture and living elements. The workshop will familiarize the participants with all the various technological solutions for incorporating natural eco-systems in architecture and teach them how to build and use their vertical garden with simple tools and materials. Workshop leader is Bruno Motik.
