Time of the Heart: (Re)Animation of Poetry
The exhibition features 50 Croatian artists-animators who work in a range of media.
They have created illustration, installations, animated films, mosaics, sculptures, audio and video works, tapestries, comics, puppets created with combined techniques (illustration, puppetry), all of which were created based on the previously unpublished poems by the journalist, film critic and director Božidar Trkulja.
The artists chose one of the 15 poems created over the period of 20 years, they materialized their views and feelings, and through (re)animation closed the circle of poetry and made the poems visible and tangible.
