Žižić/Kožul: Amazing Moments
Žižić/Kožul tandem continuously maps the range of factors of post-transitional reality which reveal the gap between the economic and social reality and its presentation through various advertising industry mechanisms.
Their projects explore methods, forms and contents through which the marketing industry delivers the ideas of happiness and prosperity seemingly within the reach of every individual. The artists focus their research on the production of visually refined aesthetic stimuli characteristic of high fashion and luxury industry, which are in the forefront when it comes to using these methods.
Damir Žižić and Kristian Kožul have been working together since 2013, forming an artistic tandem named Žižić/Kožul. Damir Žižić graduated from the Faculty of Graphic Arts, University of Zagreb and New Media from the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb. Kristian Kožul graduated from the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf.
