Nezavisno Trnje: a large illustration of the Trnje neighborhood on the Sava Banks
Illustrator Agata Lučić’s design has brought to life a full eighteen meters of fence along the Sava embankment by Močvara and Pogon.
The project team of "Nezavisno Trnje" selected illustrator Agata Lučić's solution through an open call for the Trnje neighborhood illustration announced on February 20, 2026.
The competition theme focused on the Trnje neighborhood, the Sava River, and recognizable features of Trnje, including the alternative culture centers Klub Močvara, Pogon, and KONTEJNER. We are pleased that Agata Lučić's illustration conveys the dynamic spirit of the organizations active in this area, but also contributes to the vision of our neighborhood and the area along the river.
Agata Lučić works in the field of illustration and visual arts. As a freelance illustrator, she has worked on various projects that include printed publications and illustrations (web portals, brands, events, etc.). She has collaborated with the publishing house Mala zvona as an author and illustrator of picture books, some of which have been awarded and praised. She paints murals, and actively exhibits at solo and group exhibitions in Croatia and abroad. Ceramics is another medium she enjoys using for her artistic work.
