Study visit of the "Municipalism and Local Urban Development" program participants
Pogon director Janja Sesar and Pogon Jedinstvo manager Domagoj Šavor discussed the Pogon governing model with participants of the Erasmus Combined Intensive Program.
The main objective of the program, coordinated by the Faculty of Political Science in Zagreb, and partners that include the Bauhaus University in Weimar and the Faculty of Geography in Belgrade, is to offer learning about municipalist public policies and their impact on local urban development.
In order to enable critical reflection on urban development and the potential of municipalism, the program realized a study visit to Zagreb from November 2 to 9, which included a series of lectures by city officials, architects and urban planners, cultural workers and activists, as well as workshops and field visits.
One of the visits was to the Pogon Jedinstvo, where the participants were welcomed and guided through the venue by the director Janja Sesar and the manager of Pogon Jedinstvo, Domagoj Šavor.
