Sara Salamon is the new artist in residence at Akademie Schloss Solitude
As part of the artist exchange program at Akademie Schloss Solitude, visual artist Sara Salamon was selected for a residence at this prestigious institution for 3 months.
Akademie Schloss Solitude is a renowned German institution that has been implementing a program of international transdisciplinary residencies since 1990, through which it has connected more than 1,400 young artists from over 120 countries.
The exchange of artists with Akademie Schloss Solitude takes place within the Eastern European network that Akademie Schloss Solitude began to build in 2002, and since 2009, through a partnership with Pogon, Croatia is also a participant. Candidates for residency in Stuttgart are selected through a public call that Pogon announces once a year. Based on the applications received, the Residency Council, assembled by Pogon, selects three potential candidates for the shortlist. The final selection is made by Akademie Schloss Solitude, and Sara Salamon was selected for 2024.
