BicPop in Pogon
Bicycle Repair Shop, a free volunteer service for bicycle repair, established by Friends of the Earth Croatia, is a guest at the Pogon Jedinstvo yard.
At BicPop, anyone, regardless of their previous level of knowledge, can repair their bicycle for free, with the help of volunteers. The only requirement for users is that they must participate in repairing their bicycle themselves. By empowering its users to repair their bicycles themselves, collecting old bicycle parts that are available to users for free, passing on donations of entire bicycles to those who cannot buy them themselves, and opening a space where people help each other through volunteer work - BicPop promotes sustainable transport, efficient resource management, and building social solidarity.
BicPop operates as part of the Friends of the Earth Croatia, and on October 11 it opens its pop-up service in the yard of Pogon Jedinstvo.
