CirkoБalkana 13: Manipulations
In the 13th edition of this contemporary circus festival in Zagreb, manipulation is elevated to the level of artistic ecstasy.
This is not about the power games of politics and media but about virtuosos who, through devotion and daily refinement, transform ordinary props into poetic instruments of wonder. Their manipulation does not ensnare the mind but liberates it, guiding us into a state of deep awe and idescribable joy.
Program is in final stages of preparations, and so far this artists have been confirmed: Cie Les Véldcimanes Associés (B), Cie LPM (FR), Wes Paden (SAD/FR), Darragh McLoughlin (IR/D), Mismo Nismo (SLO), Cirkusfera (RS), and Domagoj Šoić/ Cirkorama (CRO).
