Hiba Ali, Fickle fairies rooted in the oblivion: Somatic explorations of water
An exhibition by Solitude Exchange Network resident, artist and researcher Hiba Ali, explores how folklore connects us to the environment.
Hiba Ali's multiyear research on waterways, somatics, and folklore focused on worldbuilding and digital storytelling implements 3D technologies and sound to create immersive environments.
Through exploring vile, water fairies, and mythical beings' ancient origins, "Fickle fairies rooted in the oblivion: Somatic explorations of water" exhibition invites an immersion into play and collective worldbuilding.
The exhibition opens in the Small Hall of Pogon Jedinstvo on Wednesday, November 11, at 7 p.m., and remains open until November 19, daily from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Admission is free.
