KEMK & CO2…couple of artists: SCHILLER's CHILDREN

In the temporary alliance of different work logics, aesthetics and political experiences, a spatial fracture and a collision of parallel worlds occur!

"Schiller's Children" is not an adaptation but a spatial fracture: Vlado Kristl's collection of texts "Unerlaubte Schönheit" passes through different registers of space – physical, sound, thought and political – and breaks down, rearranges and multiplies in them. The text is not derived, but spread; space becomes a field of transmission, resistance and collision, a place where intensities are not accommodated but are displaced serially.

The performance brings together theater artists who have not met in the same space for a long time: Damir Bartol Indoš, Tanja Vrvilo, Nikolina Pristaš and Goran Sergej Pristaš, in a collision with the visual interventions of Siniša Ilić and the musical practices of Ivan Marušić Klif and Helge Hinteregger. This gathering is not a return or continuity, but a temporary alliance of different work logics, aesthetics and political experiences.

"Schiller's children" is created in the collision of parallel worlds and in the overlapping of speculative spaces that cannot be reconciled. On the dividing line between text and noise, control and excess, discipline and disintegration, the performance is tested as a fragile practice of friction: a place where forms collide and meanings do not calm down.

The premiere of the performance inspired by the works of Vlado Kristl, Sean Bonney and Friedrich Schiller will take place on Saturday, January 17 at 8 pm in the Big Hall of Pogon Jedinstvo, with replays to follow on January 18 and 19 at the same time.
