Pool House: album promotion
Pool House is a four-piece from Zagreb that experiments with sounds, lyrics and emotions in an attempt to escape the boring and often unbearable everyday life.
Their debut album, exclusively released by the fantastic Mudri brk, is a labour of long splendid hours spent in a small house in a garden on the periphery of the city, one that resembles a pool house but is obviously not one. Nevertheless, one never ceases to stop imagining that reality in fact has magical properties, just like in novels where nothing is real and everything is true.
These seven rather long and somewhat dreamy songs were recorded by people you may or may not know in incarnations such as (The) Lesser Men, Benchwarmers, Casual Elvis, The Fire Escapes: Vladimir Basić on vocals and keyboards, Denis Brčić on bass, Vatroslav Miloš on vocals and guitar, Tomislav Škarica on vocals, sounds, effects and programming, as well as the extraordinary Vice Demian de Orlando on vocals and clarinet and Lana Juranić on bassoon. instagram.com/ppoooollhhooouusse/
