There is a place where time does not move forward.
Where days do not come and go, but simply linger.
Where a breath is only half inhaled, and a thought never quite reaches its end.
That place is not far away. It is inside.

Waiting Room is a choreodramatic exploration of an inner landscape shaped by unrest, invisible wounds and the quiet erosion of the self. It is not a story, but a state — a space between breath and response, between a functioning body and a fractured thought, between the everyday “I’m fine” and a truth we no longer know how to articulate.

Here, the body speaks when words stop. Movement takes on what language can no longer bear. The choreography is not dance, but symptom — the physical form of pain that does not know where to go. It encounters depression that resists being named and anxiety that cannot be explained.

The performance does not seek causes or diagnoses. It does not offer solutions, nor does it attempt to heal. It simply acknowledges.

It gives space to feelings that often remain hidden: the exhaustion, the numbness, the tension, the moments when a sob unexpectedly emerges in the middle of an ordinary day. In a time dominated by the imperative to be positive, Waiting Room makes room for nuance. For grey. For “I don’t know.”
There is no catharsis and no easy answer. The performance ends where it began — in a place where time stands still and breath is the only thing that moves.
And perhaps, within that breath, there is space for permission.
For recognition.
For a gentle silence without the obligation to immediately put yourself back together.
Because this is not a performance about finding a way out.
It is about the strength that emerges when you become quiet enough to hear yourself.
And sometimes, acknowledging that you are in there is enough.
