Perhaps Nothing begins from darkness as a space of uncertainty, a place in which things are not revealed immediately and in which presence does not necessarily imply visibility.
In such a space, the gaze loses its certainty, the body becomes more aware of its own position, and movement becomes slower and more cautious.
The work emerges through the relationship between the body, light, architecture, and perception. It is not presented as a whole, nor is it revealed all at once, but rather unfolds through shifting intensities and partial appearances, leaving the rest of the space beyond the reach of the gaze.
Interactivity is treated as a relationship rather than an effect. The work’s appearance is temporary and fragmentary, determined by the momentary relationship between the body, light, and space. Disappearance, as well as the complete absence of appearance, is an integral part of its logic. The possibility that nothing happens is neither an exception nor a deficiency, but one of the fundamental premises of the work itself.
