ZAGREB: LIBERATION
Along with the lighting of bonfires on the Sava embankment, on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Zagreb, an exhibition program is held in the Big Hall of Pogon Jedinstvo.
On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the victory over fascism in Zagreb, this exhibition brings back the focus on the unconquered city and the moments when struggle and resistance brought freedom.
Through photographs, film, documents and testimonies, this exhibition thematizes the broader historical context of liberation and the atmosphere that followed in the city after the entry of the partisans.
The opening is scheduled for May 8 at 7:30 PM at SKC Zagreb, and at Pogon Jedinstvo on the day of the Trnje bonfires on Saturday, May 10 at 5 PM.
Admission is free.
