Sara Salamon

Sara Salamon (Rijeka, Croatia, 1991) works in the fields of various artistic practices, as a visual artist, film editor and director of photography.

In her work she is trying to betray the media. She is inspired by collective wilderness and shifting realities. She finds special interest in public space, specific locations and weird media connections.

She received awards for collaborative projects (35th Salon mladih, 55th Zagreb salon...), and
participated in residency programs such as Q21, MuseumQuartier in Vienna and Bergen Center for Electronic Art (Norway) as part of Future DiverCities 2019. She is a member of the informal collectives M28 and Platforma za eksperiment, and most often collaborates with Hrvoje Spudić. Salamon mastered Media Arts and Practices at the Academy of Applied Arts in Rijeka in 2015.

Sara Salamon is a Pogon's resident at the Akademie Schloss Solitude in 2024.
